THE ROLE
This position reports to the Director?of Premium Services.?The Catering Sales Manager targets and coordinates catering sales efforts. The job involves initiation and development of? quality and ?leads to ensuring growth in catering sales. The primary responsibility is to develop new catering? business ?through catering lead generation,?catering sales? marketing ?and attending networking events. The sales manager? solicits ?new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques. Other important duties include booking, selling,? planning ?and coordinating all special social events while assuring the highest level of customer service. They will? be responsible for ?generating revenue,? establishing ?new accounts,? monitoring ?booking space, booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high , conducting ?catering sales presentations.?
ESSENTIAL DUT I ES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Research, analyze, and develop special event profit generating opportunities?
Proactively? solicit ?new business by, among other things, making sales calls and presentations, attending local trade shows, and engaging in other client prospecting to increase the size of the Legends' potential client database?
Create leads and develop long-term relationships in the event planning, production, and promotion communities, and with other relevant companies, organizations, and groups?
Monitor changes and new developments in the? special events ?industry?
Work closely and build relationships with Legends' premium and concessions departments?
Manage and direct all Legends-related event? logistics , including managing the events calendar, conducting walk- thrus ?and stadium visits, and being the primary contact for clients?
Prepare and provide required reports to the?Director of Premium and?General Manager?including special event revenue reports, profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and projections?
Obtain feedback from clients following each special event to? determine ?and analyze client satisfaction, organizational performance, and event-related risks and liabilities.?
Provide quality service and excellent products while? maintaining ?positive customer and client relations and prudent financial practices.?
Practice?safe work habits?and complete company and venue?safety?and general compliance?training.??
Maintain?a pleasant?and collaborative?attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.??
Adheres to the Legends?Global and venue?company?policies.?
Focus on?outbound sales and turning into repeat business?
Complete other?duties?assigned?by management.??
Available to work non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)?

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws.

Must have two (2) to three (3) years of related experience?
Working knowledge of local and regional markets, venue operations, and? special events ?industries?
Ability to effectively evaluate risks and liabilities of? special events ?and stadium rentals?
Resourceful,? innovative ?and forward thinking, with an entrepreneurial spirit?
